About the Role
As an Urgent Care Provider (PA/FNP), you will be responsible for interviewing, examining, and diagnosing patients' injuries and illnesses. You will order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and suggest lifestyle changes. Additionally, you will maintain patient medical histories, provide documentation for insurance companies, and educate patients and their families about their health.
About You
Required:
- Previous experience working in an Emergency Room or Urgent Care setting.
- Ability to examine patients, diagnose injuries and illnesses, and provide treatment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Certification as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
