City of Tolleson is seeking a Utilities Engineer to manage the design, construction, and oversight of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.
About the Role
As a Utilities Engineer, you will lead Capital Improvement Projects (CIP), negotiate development agreements, and ensure compliance with health, environmental, and regulatory standards. You will act as a project manager, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, and budget expectations. Responsibilities include overseeing utility system inspections, streamlining development processes and design standards, and enhancing customer service. You will also serve as a liaison to internal teams and external stakeholders, representing the City in meetings and collaborative efforts.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
3 years of progressively responsible experience related to area of assignment.
Registration as an Arizona Geologist or Professional Engineer (Civil) or an equivalency through state reciprocity.
Valid Arizona driver's license.
