BioSpace is seeking a Utilities / High Voltage Electrician / Instrumentation to join their team in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining utility equipment including electrical systems and instrumentation.
About the Role
As a Utilities / High Voltage Electrician / Instrumentation, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on high and low voltage electrical equipment, troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems, and ensuring compliance with safety rules. You will also be involved in the installation and modification of electrical and process instrumentation systems, while documenting all work according to Good Documentation Practices.
About You
Required:
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
- Basic instrumentation/electrical skills and ability to troubleshoot basic electrical circuits and equipment.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred:
- Experience with utility systems such as high purity water, chillers, steam, and compressed air.
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent instrumentation/electrical work experience.
- Experience with a CMMS (e.g., GMARS) or similar work order tracking system.
- Proficiency in basic use of Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel).
