About the Role
As a Utility Systems Repairer-Operator Leader, you will lead a team of workers in performing trades and labor work related to electrical power generating equipment, HVAC systems, and pollution control equipment. Your responsibilities will include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting complex HVAC/R systems, and operating Energy Management and Control Systems (EMCS). You will also ensure safety practices are followed and may be required to train lower-graded employees.
About You
Required:
- Knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration principles and properties of refrigerants.
- Experience in inspecting, installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing power boilers and associated auxiliary equipment.
Preferred:
- CFC/NCFC Certification (universal) as required by EPA regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
