About the Role
As a Vascular Surgery ARNP, you will be responsible for conducting patient examinations and follow-ups, providing treatment plans, and counseling patients. You may prescribe medication and will work with complex surgical patients both pre- and post-operatively. Additionally, you will assist in major surgical procedures and perform minor procedures within the hospital's medical staff department's policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
- Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Studies
- 1 year in Vascular Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, or related specialty of the surgical department
- State of Florida ARNP Licensure
- Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred:
- Continuing education required to maintain licensure
