Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a Vascular Tech- CV Imaging to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves performing various vascular ultrasound testing and assisting physicians with ultrasound guided procedures.
About the Role
As a Vascular Tech- CV Imaging, you will be responsible for conducting inpatient and outpatient vascular ultrasound tests, including complex 2D/Doppler vascular imaging and physiologic testing. You will provide technical care using ultrasound technology for patients of all ages and ensure proper documentation of exam findings. Additionally, you will assist in ultrasound guided procedures and perform transcranial Doppler tests where applicable.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Vascular Sonography program or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of clinical experience as a vascular sonographer.
- BCLS - Basic Life Support certification.
- RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist or RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer certification.
Preferred:
- 4 additional years of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient/ambulatory vascular sonographer.
- Lead sonographer experience.
