Labcorp is seeking a Venipuncture/Biometric Screener Wellness Worker for the North Central Region. The role involves providing testing services at events, including biometric screenings and COVID-19 testing.
About the Role
As a Venipuncture/Biometric Screener Wellness Worker, you will be responsible for performing venipuncture blood draws, conducting biometric screenings, and ensuring accurate capture of participant information. You will also provide exceptional customer service and assist in the setup and breakdown of events.
About You
Required:
- Medical credentials required (CPT, RN, LPN, etc.)
- Minimum of 1-year experience performing venipuncture blood draws
- Minimum of 100 successful blood draws in the last 6 months
- Proficient taking blood pressure
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic tablet and computer skills
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
- Must be willing and able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be at least 18 or older
Preferred:
- Medical credentials strongly preferred (CNA, MA, Phlebotomist, RN, LPN, etc.)
- Minimum of 1-year experience working in a healthcare setting
- Experience with Cholestech LDX preferred
