World Wide Technology is seeking a Vertical Systems Engineer - Global Accounts to join their team in Columbus, OH. The role involves technical pre-sales systems engineering and serving as a technical liaison to clients.
About the Role
As a Vertical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for network design and architecture, developing Statements of Work, and assisting in Proof of Concepts. You will work closely with the WWT Sales team to represent networking and network security expertise, manage presales technology solution deliverables, and develop relationships with strategic partners. The role requires a strong understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization solutions.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of Networking experience and 5+ years of Pre-Sales experience.
- Proficiency across core networking disciplines such as Route/Switch, UC, Automation, Wireless, Security, and Cloud.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, product demonstration skills, customer service skills, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience.
Preferred:
- CCIE R/S, ACDE or JNCIE certifications.
- Deep-level knowledge in at least two specialized Enterprise Networking domains: Datacenter, Campus, Wireless, SD-WAN, SASE/SSE, or AI Networking Solutions.
- Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, zScaler, Crowdstrike, Nile certifications.
