Blue River PetCare is seeking a Veterinary Production Analyst to join their DVM Contracts Team in Chicago, IL. The role involves calculating and maintaining production-based compensation for veterinarians across the organization.
About the Role
As a Veterinary Production Analyst, you will be responsible for calculating individual veterinarian production compensation based on contract terms, ensuring compliance with contractual provisions, reconciling monthly production reports, and collaborating with Finance, Payroll, and Field Operations teams. You will also recommend process improvements and assist in system upgrades impacting production tracking and financial reporting.
About You
Required:
- Associate degree or 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, compensation calculations, or veterinary/hospital provider pay structures; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience interpreting employment contracts, particularly production-based compensation models.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling).
- Ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends, discrepancies, and optimization opportunities.
Preferred:
- Experience with veterinary practice management software (e.g., Cornerstone, AVImark, eVet) and financial tracking systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
