Mission Pet Health is seeking a part-time Veterinary Receptionist to join their team at Companion Animal Hospital of Norridge in Harwood Heights, IL. The role involves managing client interactions and ensuring smooth operations within the veterinary practice.
About the Role
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, managing a multi-line phone system, greeting clients, maintaining accurate medical records, scheduling appointments, and handling financial transactions. You will advocate for pet health by educating clients on preventative care and embody compassion and empathy in all interactions.

Required:
- A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
- Flexibility to work some weekends and holidays.
Preferred:
- Experience with veterinary software.
