About the Role
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will provide a wide range of surgical services including soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, and take outpatient appointments as time allows. You will work in an AAHA accredited veterinary hospital equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory services. The role includes a consistent 40-hour work week with no after-hours calls or emergencies, and you will enjoy generous paid vacation and sick time.
About You
Required:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
- Surgical residency trained and/or 10 years of relevant experience.
- DVM licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Missouri or eligible.
- DEA licensure in good standing or eligible.
Preferred:
- Interest and/or training in canine rehabilitation and pain management.
- Experience in abdominal ultrasound or willingness to take training.
Benefits
- $120,000 minimum base salary, negotiable based on education and experience.
- Commission opportunity with average total compensation range of $120,000 to $165,000.
