About the Role
As a Veterinary Technician / Assistant, you will support hospital operations by determining animal requirements, conducting examinations, assisting during surgeries, providing nursing care, and maintaining medical records. You will also ensure a safe and humane environment for patients and communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' status.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two or more years of experience with veterinary appointments, surgeries, and nursing care for hospitalized and critical patients.
Preferred:
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT) as required by State.
- An equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
