About the Role
As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for triaging patients, running laboratory tests, placing IV catheters, maintaining treatment records, obtaining blood samples, assessing pain levels, and providing client education. You will work closely with veterinarians to ensure high-quality care for hospitalized patients and support the training of veterinary assistants.
About You
Required:
- Veterinary Technician, CVT/LVT preferred or a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Veterinary Technician.
- Proficiency in processing basic laboratory specimens.
- Working knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Understanding of normal vs abnormal physiologic ranges.
- Ability to work well and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Commitment to help mentor and train veterinary assistants.
- Compassionate, positive outlook and friendly, team-oriented attitude.
- The ability to deliver exceptional client service.
- Honesty, integrity, and a desire to learn and have fun!
