About the Role
As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for triaging patients, running laboratory tests, placing IV catheters, maintaining treatment records, administering anesthesia and medications, and providing compassionate care to hospitalized patients. You will also educate clients on at-home care and assist with various hospital tasks.
About You
Required:
- Veterinary Technician, CVT/LVT preferred or a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Veterinary Technician.
- Proficient with anesthetic monitoring and processing basic laboratory specimens.
- Working knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Preferred:
- Understanding of normal vs abnormal physiologic ranges.
- Commitment to help mentor and train veterinary assistants.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
