United Veterinary Care is seeking a Veterinary Technician - Surgery Team Floor Lead to join their team in Round Rock, TX. The role involves leading a dynamic surgery department and providing outstanding patient care.
About the Role
As the Surgery Team Floor Lead, you will be responsible for managing the surgery team, overseeing patient treatments, conducting interviews and hiring, monitoring safety protocols, and facilitating team meetings. You will also handle performance evaluations, coordinate staff schedules, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding controlled substances.
About You
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician is required.
Excellent customer service and computer skills are required.
Advanced anesthetic monitoring proficiency is required.
Preferred:
Licensure preferred.
Leadership experience preferred.
