Summary
B Capital is seeking a Vice President/Director, Capital Formation to join their team in New York, NY. This fundraising role is responsible for building relationships with strategic investors and raising capital across funds and co-investments.
About the Role
As a Vice President/Director, Capital Formation, you will originate, drive, and close new LP commitments across various channels. You will manage the full fundraising cycle, partner with the MD of Capital Formation, and prepare customized fundraising materials. Additionally, you will build and maintain a high-quality pipeline and represent B Capital at LP meetings and industry events.
About You
Required:
- 6-10 years of capital-raising experience in venture capital, private equity, or adjacent alternatives.
- BS/BA degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Strong project-management skills and comfort running multiple fundraising processes in parallel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in technology investing and/or a keen interest in technology.
- Demonstrated experience raising capital from Endowments, Foundations, Pension Funds, and Family Offices.
