About the Role
As the Vice President of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management, you will evaluate, underwrite, and assist with closing commercial loans, franchise loans, and owner-occupied commercial real estate loans. Your responsibilities will include analyzing loan data, preparing reports for loan officers, providing technical advice to Relationship Managers, and managing client relationships through negotiations and compliance testing. You will also participate in departmental meetings and maintain knowledge of market trends in commercial lending.
About You
Required:
- College degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent related experience.
- Minimum of 7 - 10 years’ experience in commercial lending, preferably with franchise finance and construction lending experience.
- Completion of a credit training program, preferably through a bank credit department.
Preferred:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with skills in financial analysis.
- Knowledge of commercial lending and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
