BNY is seeking a Vice President, ESG Regulatory Programs to join their Sustainability Hub in New York. The role focuses on managing ESG regulatory disclosures and implementation across the organization.
About the Role
As the Vice President, ESG Regulatory Programs, you will oversee the production of climate and ESG regulatory disclosures, drive the implementation of ESG regulatory requirements, and maintain documentation protocols. You will partner with various teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage governance routines, while also monitoring evolving regulations and producing management-ready documentation for audits.
About You
Required:
- 6+ years of experience in financial services with exposure to climate policy and disclosures, sustainability, compliance, or risk/control functions.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Hands-on experience driving regulatory implementations and/or reporting.
- Strong understanding of ESG reporting standards and disclosure requirements.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with regulatory regimes and voluntary frameworks (e.g., TCFD, ISSB).
- Proven success in cross-functional, matrixed project management.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical topics for senior stakeholders.
- Technical proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Workiva experience is a plus.
