Climate Finance Advisors, a member of WSP, is seeking a Vice President, Mechanical Engineering to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves designing complex cooling and HVAC systems while leading projects and a team of mechanical engineers.
About the Role
As a Vice President, Mechanical Engineer, you will produce high-quality technical deliverables, design air distribution and hydronic systems, and lead multi-discipline project teams. You will attend client meetings, communicate engineering concepts, mentor junior engineers, and manage project activities including proposals and budgets.
About You
Required:
- Proven history of Mechanical or Architectural Engineering with mechanical building systems emphasis.
- 10+ years of experience in designing mechanical systems for high performing, commercial, industrial or mission critical/data center buildings.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
- Experience mentoring and training others in the field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact well with others and contribute to high quality technical deliverables.
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems and codes.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and compliance with health and safety policies.
- Flexibility to meet business needs and adapt to changes in a pressure work environment.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Preferred:
- Experience with the analysis of interior and exterior Computational Fluid Dynamics of airflow.
- Mission Critical/Data Center experience.
- Experience with international projects and knowledge of international codes and standards.
