Summary
Good Shepherd Services is seeking a Vice President of Health Services to oversee the administration, coordination, and strategic direction of physical health services within their Integrated Health department.
About the Role
As the Vice President of Health Services, you will supervise the Physical Health Services Team, ensure compliance with Medicaid Managed Care policies, and maintain high standards of care and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with various departments to implement medical practices, update health services policies, and lead a high-performing team focused on service delivery. This role requires participation in external stakeholder meetings and managing Medicaid budgets, while also being available on-call for emergencies.
About You
Required:
- Unrestricted Registered Nurse License in New York State.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in Child Welfare, Foster Care, or Social Services.
- 2-3 years of clinical pediatric experience.
- Proven administrative experience in nursing, including electronic health records and policy implementation.
Preferred:
- Experience with Medicaid Managed Care.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interest in working with children/adolescents from underserved communities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
- Ability to travel to multiple sites across NYC.
