Summary
Swoon is seeking a Vice President Operations to lead a high-tech manufacturing site in the Greater Lancaster area. This executive role involves driving operational excellence across Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
About the Role
As the Vice President Operations, you will set and execute the operational strategy, oversee production and supply chain management, build high-performing teams, and ensure efficiency and quality across all operations. You will also manage financial oversight, implement Lean principles, and collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to support company initiatives.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years in manufacturing leadership, including 5+ years overseeing multiple operational functions.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and structured problem-solving.
Preferred:
- Experience in technical manufacturing; RF or automotive industry preferred.
- Proven track record in safety, quality, delivery, cost management, and building high-performing teams.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems; Six Sigma certification a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
