BlackRock is seeking a Vice President, Private Markets Finance & Strategy to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves driving long-term growth strategies and financial planning for the Private Markets Platform.

About the Role

As a Vice President, you will partner with investment business leaders to develop growth strategies, business plans, and financials. You will act as a liaison between strategy and finance, ensuring alignment across budgeting and strategic planning processes. Your responsibilities will include leading FP&A initiatives, analyzing market data, and communicating strategic priorities to senior stakeholders.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with strong academic achievement; MBA desirable.
5-7 years of relevant work experience in Consulting, Finance, Banking or similar.
Experience with financial processes such as financial modeling, planning, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliation, reporting, and valuation.
Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

Asset management industry and Private Markets expertise.
Track record of developing and implementing strategies.
Experience in navigating complex stakeholder environments.
Proven expertise in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with TM1 / Cognos a plus.
