Giant Spoon is seeking a Video Media Buyer to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves strategic and creative planning for video media buying across various platforms.
About the Role
As a Video Media Buyer, you will compile audience research, develop comprehensive video media plans, manage the full lifecycle of video campaigns, assist with tagging and trafficking digital assets, and oversee ongoing campaign monitoring. You will also coordinate outreach, manage budgets, and contribute to creative media brainstorms while mentoring an Assistant Media Planner.
About You
Required:
18+ months of experience in integrated media planning & buying with a strong focus on video.
Experience in linear buying, trafficking, stewardship, and posting in MediaOcean (Spectra and/or PRISMA).
Varied experience in video including National Broadcast & Cable, Local Buys, and Video (Direct & Programmatic).
Experience tagging and trafficking assets, familiarity with UTM function, and understanding of media tagging.
Preferred:
Experience with 3P measurement partner tagging (e.g., Kantar MWB, Disqo, EDO, Videoamp).
Strong organization and project management skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
