About the Role

About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in ASL, Deaf Studies, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching ASL in a classroom, online, or community setting.
- Fluency in American Sign Language.
- Deep understanding of Deaf culture and history.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Certification in ASL instruction (e.g., ASLTA certification).
- Experience working with diverse groups of learners, including children, adults, and those with special needs.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
- Familiarity with digital tools for virtual instruction.
