About the Role
The Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor will be responsible for teaching courses in social work within the Department of Family Science and Social Work. The role includes engaging in cross-disciplinary collaboration within the College of Education, Health and Society, and contributing to the academic community through teaching and potentially research activities.
About You
Required:
- Ph.D. or terminal degree in Family Science or Social Work, or closely related field by date of appointment.
- Minimum of two years of practice experience post master's degree achievement for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor.
- Master's (or ABD) in Social Work or closely related field by date of appointment and a minimum of two years of practice experience post master's degree achievement for appointment as Instructor.
Preferred:
- Applied professional experience, including a minimum of five years practice experience post master's degree achievement.
- Licensure (e.g., LSW, LISW, LISW-S) in social work.
- Experience teaching hybrid or fully online as well as face-to-face courses.
