About the Role
As a Technical Onboarding Specialist, you will create and manage technical accounts for new team members, develop and maintain documentation for onboarding procedures, guide volunteers through software setup, provide training on collaborative tools, troubleshoot access issues, and coordinate with project leads to ensure proper access rights. You will also conduct follow-up sessions to verify successful integration and identify opportunities to improve the onboarding process.
About You
Required:
- Strong technical aptitude with experience in account management and software setup.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools, version control systems, and cloud-based platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Patient and methodical approach to training and troubleshooting.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Preferred:
- Experience with documentation creation and maintenance.
- Interest in neuroscience, technology, and the mission of the Carboncopies Foundation.
- Background in IT support, systems administration, or technical training.
