About the Role
As a Volunteer Coordinator Intern, you will work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator(s) and Community Relations Officer to recruit, screen, train, and supervise volunteers. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate data across databases, managing volunteer timesheets, conducting outreach to recruit volunteers, and overseeing the onboarding and exit processes for interns and volunteers.
About You
Required:
- Previous volunteer management, recruitment, or administrative experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Salesforce database management system.
- Cultural sensitivity and detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
