Summary
Venture Search is seeking a VP/Director - Investor Relations and Fundraising - Placement Agent to join their Project Management team in New York City. The role is central to executing institutional fundraising mandates, collaborating with senior bankers, fund managers, and internal teams.
About the Role
As the VP/Director, you will serve as the primary project manager for multiple fundraising mandates across private equity, private credit, real assets, and other alternative strategies. Your responsibilities will include coordinating all phases of the fundraising process, managing the creation and review of marketing materials, acting as a liaison between various stakeholders, overseeing CRM activity, and ensuring professionalism across all client-facing materials. You will also manage and lead a team of juniors.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in a placement agent or in an IR role is essential.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple mandates simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in PE, Private Credit or Infrastructure.
- High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and comfort managing complex workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience interfacing with institutional investors and senior stakeholders.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with senior professionals.
