About the Role
As the VP, Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning, reporting, and budget management functions. You will work closely with the CFO and leadership team to implement policies and procedures that support the credit union's operations and strategic direction. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the integrity of financial data, producing accurate financial statements, and overseeing compliance with regulatory requirements.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
- Thorough knowledge of the financial services industry, including GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills.
Preferred:
- CPA designation.
- Experience in managing financial reporting in a multi-state environment.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and specialized financial applications.
