Summary
Ambit Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves leading and expanding partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotech companies to drive profitable revenue growth.
About the Role
As VP of Business Development, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic business development plan, cultivating executive-level relationships, managing the sales cycle, and representing Ambit at industry events. You will also track pipeline metrics and contribute to firm strategy and marketing efforts.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in management consulting, life sciences strategy, and/or commercial services, preferably with direct experience selling into biopharma organizations.
- Deep understanding of biopharma commercial strategy and operations, especially in launch planning, rare disease, and specialty therapeutics.
- Proven ability to cultivate and grow high-value client relationships, with a track record of exceeding business development targets.
Preferred:
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally across delivery, marketing, and leadership teams.
- MBA or advanced degree in business or life sciences is a plus.
