Summary
Somatus is seeking a VP, Clinical Performance (Value Based Care) to join their team in the United States. The role involves providing physician clinical leadership to improve the value of care for patients with chronic kidney disease.
About the Role
As the VP, Clinical Performance, you will lead efforts to enhance clinical quality, patient safety, and cost-effectiveness of care. You will analyze healthcare payor claims data, engage with physician leaders, and develop initiatives to improve patient outcomes. This position requires collaboration with clinical operations and data analytics teams to drive performance across various payor-product partners.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited medical school with M.D. degree.
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in clinical practice.
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in value-based care settings.
- Track record of driving process, quality, and cost outcomes while improving patient care.
- Leadership experience of people, programs, and resources.
Preferred:
- MBA or Master's Degree in healthcare or related fields.
- Three (3) years of clinical performance and value-based care leadership experience.
- Board certified in internal medicine, nephrology, or family medicine.
