About the Role
As the VP, Finance and Accounting (Controller), you will provide strong accounting and financial leadership, ensure the integrity of financial statements, manage the annual financial audit, and oversee the bookkeeping function. You will also develop long-term visions for financial systems and mentor team members to foster a high-performing environment.
About You
Required:
- 7+ years of relevant accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Deep knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong technical accounting experience and previous GL management experience.
Preferred:
- Experience working for a fast-growth company backed by private equity or venture capital.
- Experience working at a public accounting firm.
- M&A experience with auditing and integrating financial systems.
- Superb analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
