About the Role

As a VP, Senior Commercial Underwriter, you will be responsible for overseeing the underwriting function, collaborating with various departments to ensure timely and compliant processes. Your role includes conducting financial analyses, managing risk, and supporting business development efforts. You will also lead special projects and mentor less experienced underwriters.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Credit and/or Underwriting, Financial Services, Factoring and/or ABL.
Commercial lending experience including underwriting and executing factoring/ABL transactions.
Solid understanding of financial statements, proficiency in financial modeling, and strong analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team player.
Self-motivated with high energy levels; ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.

Preferred:

High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Credit and/or Underwriting, Financial Services, Factoring and/or ABL.
Some experience of Factoring deals; ability to understand legal documentation and experience of managing deals.
