About the Role
As a Warehouse and Inventory Manager, you will oversee all inventory control activities, manage daily warehouse operations, lead a team of warehouse staff, coordinate logistics and supply chain processes, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Your responsibilities will include implementing inventory tracking systems, optimizing warehouse layout, and maintaining security protocols for sensitive materials.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in warehouse and inventory management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing a large-scale warehouse facility with a high-volume, high-value inventory.
- Demonstrated experience with ERP/WMS systems.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, warehouse operations, and logistics.
- Direct experience with DOD (Department of Defense) contracting requirements.
- Knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and experience with ITAR-compliant processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred:
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with government property management (GFE, GFP).
