Simtra BioPharma Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Truck Driver (1st Shift) to join their team in Bloomington, IN. The role involves receiving, shipping, storage, inventory accuracy, and picking operations to support both internal and external operations.
About the Role
As a Warehouse Associate/Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safe loading and unloading of trucks, proper packing of materials for shipment, and compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDPs). You will operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) and drive company trucks for material transport. The position requires cross-training in all Supply Chain warehouses and adherence to regulatory standards.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse and/or technical office experience required.
- Must be able to operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Must have (or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire) a For-Hire License endorsement.
Preferred:
- Associates degree preferred.
- Must be able to obtain Hazardous Materials certification.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work independently.
