About the Role
As a Warehouse Specialist, you will be responsible for inventory actions, identifying and classifying materials, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining accurate records. You will also prepare reports related to distribution functions and perform preventive maintenance on equipment. This position requires working in a shop/warehouse environment with physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 years specific experience in material handling, supply, distribution, inspection, or related areas.
- Material Handling Equipment (MHE) license.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to maintain a US Government SECRET clearance.
Preferred:
- Proficient in the use of Distribution Standard System (DSS) and other automated distribution systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite products including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and multi-task efficiently.
