Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join their team in Alexandria, VA. The role involves applying data science techniques to aid clients in decision-making and strategic risk management.
About the Role
As a Lead Data Scientist, you will leverage data-driven tools to assist service leadership and subject matter experts in increasing decision space and developing courses of action. You will analyze structured and unstructured data, develop algorithms, and guide your team in creating impactful data science solutions. Your work will involve collaborating with clients to understand their needs and using your expertise to provide insights that drive informed decisions.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of experience with data science, data architecture, data cleaning, data analysis, or data engineering.
- 10+ years of experience with the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, or SQL and NoSQL.
- 10+ years of experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources.
- Experience with Web Application Development, including HTML and JavaScript.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.
Preferred:
- Experience leading a team, including projects and deliverables.
- Experience with natural language processing, text mining, or machine learning techniques.
- Experience with visualization tools, including Tableau.
- Master's degree.
