About the Role
As a Wastewater Pretreatment Compliance - Lab Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Wastewater Industrial Pretreatment Program, conducting inspections, investigating industrial wastewater dischargers, issuing and managing pretreatment permits, developing new program procedures, and collecting and analyzing discharge samples according to IDEM & EPA standards. You will also maintain a clean and organized laboratory.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience in laboratory testing and analysis.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
