Summary
Ardurra is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join their team in Wilmington, NC. The role involves planning, designing, and managing multidiscipline water/wastewater projects for municipal and institutional clients.
About the Role
As a Water/Wastewater Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks, and other water/wastewater systems. You will manage technical design and hydraulic modeling requirements, guide and coordinate with multiple departments and sub-consultants, and interact with clients to negotiate contracts.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Environmental or other related engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in the municipal water/wastewater and/or public works field of engineering.
- Experience in managing production and treatment projects and/or performing water distribution and wastewater collection modeling.
- Self-motivated with the ability to lead or assist a project team to completion of multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Professional Engineer’s license.
- Advanced understanding of water treatment/distribution and wastewater collection/treatment principles and state regulations.
