About the Role
As a Weighmaster, you will be responsible for operating scales to weigh inbound and outbound trucks, reviewing and documenting loads, directing drivers, processing payments, and performing general office duties. You will work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, adhering to health and safety standards.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years’ experience operating truck scales, preferably in a scrap metal or similar industry.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good organizational and mathematical skills.
Preferred:
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office and ability to learn industry-specific software.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) language skills.
