About the Role
As a Weld Engineer, you will collaborate with Controls Engineers, Project Managers, and other personnel to create and support welding systems for automation and robotic equipment. Your responsibilities will include specifying weld equipment, programming, machine debugging, and leading a team of engineers. The position requires travel to customer sites for installation and support, representing 10-20% of your time.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in welding engineering strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in automation and weld engineering focused role.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10%-20%.
- Experience with welding specification and simulation programming.
Preferred:
- Design experience with welding systems.
- Familiarity with software such as Lincoln, Fronius, WTC, Bosch, RSLogix5000/500, Robot Studio, Roboguide, Motosim, and AutoCAD.
