About the Role
As a Welder - 2nd Shift, you will be responsible for welding various metals, including aluminum and specialty alloys, on large platforms and structures. Your daily tasks will include reading and interpreting engineering drawings, performing precision welding in various positions, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on welding experience, with a strong emphasis on aluminum and specialty alloys.
- Proficient in MIG and/or TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Proficient with common hand and power tools, including drills, grinders, saws, and calipers.
- High school diploma or trade school certification required.
Preferred:
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-paced production environment.
- Must supply personal hand tools and ANSI-certified welding helmet.
