Innotech Process Equipment is seeking a Welder Fabricator to join their team in Bellingham, WA. The role involves primarily stainless-steel TIG sheet metal welding for food processing equipment and various metal designs.
About the Role
As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding high-quality food processing equipment for the small fruit, seafood, meat, and vegetable industries. You will work with stainless steel and mild steel, read and understand shop drawings, and ensure the quality of your welds. The position requires you to work independently with minimal supervision and may involve off-site installations and repairs.
About You
Required:
- 2 years of stainless steel welding experience.
- Mild steel welding experience.
- Strong knowledge of metals, materials, and tools.
- Strong fabrication skills.
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings.
- Self-starter, mature, and competent.
- Ability to work without constant supervision.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- US citizenship or authorization to work in the US.
Preferred:
- Experience and willingness to work in the field for off-site installs and repairs.
- WABO certification.
- Experience with process equipment fabrication.
- Experience with aluminum.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Shop maintenance skills.
- TWIC card.
