About the Role
As a Wildlife Specialist, you will be responsible for the daily care of animals, administering medications, maintaining records, and participating in wellness programs. You will also engage in conservation management and assist with breeding management and neonatal care. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and effective communication within the team.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 1-3 years of experience working with rhinos, antelopes, okapis, giraffes, wild equids, and wild cattle in a managed setting or zoo.
Preferred:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in animal science, wildlife management, biology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year husbandry experience.
