Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA is seeking a Wildlife Transport Specialist to join their team in Saratoga, CA. The role involves transporting wildlife to the Conservation Center and ensuring their humane handling and care.
About the Role
As a Wildlife Transport Specialist, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering wildlife from various locations to the Conservation Center. Your duties will include ensuring safe transport, maintaining accurate paperwork, and communicating effectively with partner agencies. You will also assist with wildlife releases and support the Wildlife Rehabilitation Department as needed.
About You
Required:
- Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED; or six months to one year of related experience.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under stressful circumstances.
- Comfortable transporting a wide variety of wildlife.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50-75 pounds.
Preferred:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and data entry skills.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work irregular hours, shifts, weekends, and holidays.
