About the Role
As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Siemens Gamesa and/or Senvion wind turbines, conducting blade inspections, climbing turbines, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will also support a mobile team covering multiple sites and maintain accurate service records.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical, mechanical, or electrical field, ideally related to wind turbines.
- Ability to meet physical demands, including weight restrictions under 265 lbs and passing a job-specific medical exam.
- Strong skills in planning, problem-solving, and independent decision-making.
Preferred:
- Additional education or experience in electrical or mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, including PLCs and converters.
- Customer-facing experience.
