As a Winter Athletic Assistant Coach, you will be responsible for assisting in the coaching of student-athletes, ensuring they understand the rules and strategies of the sport. You will work closely with other coaches, staff, and parents to create a positive and motivating environment for students. Your duties will include planning practices, providing feedback to athletes, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
About You
Required:
- Valid CPR, First Aid, Concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and Coaching certifications or willingness to obtain.
- Valid CA driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Experience coaching and knowledge of sport and rules.
- Fingerprint clearance before beginning work.
- T.B. clearance before beginning work.
- Ability to motivate students.
- Ability to be a team player and work well with staff, parents, coaches, players, and others.
Preferred:
- Experience in a similar coaching role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
