About the Role
As a Wireless Telecommunications Design Lead, you will be responsible for designing and providing technical leadership for systems including Commercial DAS, Public Safety DAS, LMR, Site Radio, RoIP, Wi-Fi, and Tower Studies. Your tasks will include conducting preliminary assessments, creating concepts, leading designs, resolving internal and external problems, producing drawings and specifications, and ensuring project completion on time.
About You
Required:
- Technical or associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience actively designing wireless telecommunications systems.
- Experience with iBwave, EDX, Atoll, or LMR Planner.
- Thorough knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 1221, and NFPA 1225.
- iBwave Level 2 Certification required.
Preferred:
- Experience designing Wi-Fi systems.
- EDX or Motorola design certifications.
- FCC GROL.
- NICET Design Certification.
- Electrical Engineering or Communication Engineering degree.
