About the Role
As an Official Court Reporter, you will report and transcribe proceedings of court trials, hearings, or conferences as required by law or at the request of the judge. You will prepare and distribute transcripts, maintain records of notes and exhibits, and perform clerical duties related to the court. This position requires strict confidentiality and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
About You
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) or Certified Verbatim Reporter (CVR) certification or the ability to obtain certification within two years.
Preferred:
Proficiency in computer-aided transcription and real-time reporting.
Experience in a court reporting or similar field.
