Summary
ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Work Planner/Auditor to join their team in Farmington Hills, MI. The role involves ensuring safe delivery of power by managing vegetation around power lines and engaging with the community.
About the Role
As a Work Planner/Auditor, you will act as a subject matter expert in utility vegetation management (UVM), inspecting electric utility easements, coordinating with landowners to develop vegetation management plans, and ensuring safety practices are followed by tree crews. You will also address customer concerns, assist with infrastructure upgrades, and perform quality assurance inspections on vegetation management work.
About You
Required:
- Ability to identify local trees and read maps.
- Willingness to work alone outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, smartphones).
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
- 1+ year prior UVM, Forestry or related experience.
- Certification as an ISA Arborist, Registered Forester, or other related certificates/licenses.
- Prior GIS software/technology experience.
- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish).
